About Us
Jennifer Loewenthal, MA, LMHC, LAMFT, was born in Minnesota and raised near Diamond Lake in Minneapolis. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota in Family Social Science (1996) with a specialization in
GLBT culture and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University(1999). She integrates an intuitive, strength-based approach to her counseling practice as well as integration of art therapy. She collaborates with Medical and Naturopathic Doctors, Psychiatrists, and Registered Dieticians to assist each person in creating a wellness recovery plan. The goal is to assist each person to grow towards authentic healing and wholeness.

Jennifer is also training to become a Chemical Dependency Professional at Residence XII in Kirkland, Washington and is an avid Ashtanga yoga practitioner and member of the National Eating Disorder Association, Evangelicals Concerned of Western Washington, the Human Rights Campaign, and the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association.
Her hobbies include writing, gardening, meditating, and learning something new each day. She believes we are all "Spiritual beings having a human experience" and feels honored to be called to serve others in her role as a therapist, teacher, and life coach.
